The family of James Robert "BOB" Carson and Rosa Elliott Carson Held every other year in odd numbered years Next reunion: This year!! June 13, 2009 Mt. Zion Baptist Church Caney Branch Road Bryson City, NC Meet around 3:00 P.M. to visit Around 5:00 P.M. we will be served a dinner provided by the ladies of Mt. Zion Church as a fund raising project for their Building Fund. A special program is being planned for the occasion that we have not had before so everyone will want to come as soon as possible to enjoy the program as much as possible!

members - cousins, any relatives - are welcome to come and join in. Sunday, June 14, 2009 2:00 pm Decoration Day Service at Sawyers Cemetery Stephenson Branch Road where the grandparents of most of us are buried. We can participate in the program that is carried out by Mt. Zion Baptist Church, a program still conducted much the same way as our parents and grandparents did theirs on Decoration Day. We look forward with joy to meeting again and renewing friendships, and being together again in the beautiful Smoky mountains of Swain County. Robert and Rosa Carson are buried in this cemetery.
