Have you ever wondered when certain things first happened in Madison County? While reading the Records of Corporations, filed in the Register of Deeds office, I came upon some very interesting corporations that may have changed Madison County forever. Just a quick note, please keep in mind, filing for corporation status does NOT mean the company, did in fact, do business. It states the intent to do business. Since there are no records available one can only assume the company did follow through with its plans and did conduct business as stated. |
